I agree with this.

Relationships take a certain amount of work, people get sick, lose jobs, get overwhelmed with life and go through rough patches. But if things are a constant uphill battle to keep the relationship afloat, then it's probably not the right relationship.

That goes double for those still in the dating stage. It should be a no-brainer to cut losses before there are legal ties.

There's a recent country song that has a line about love doesn't have to be a bunch of drama and make you cry in the rain. I'm usually not a country fan but that song sums it up well.
